Space was inspired by the photographic world of Francesca Woodman.
We endeavoured to experience and present the body as mobile installation,
art object and emotional vehicle. Space was performed at Love Dance,
Dance Base, Edinburgh Fringe 2010. The work included Gametrak and
distance detecting sensors (Ultrasonic sensors) with designed sound
programmed in MAX MSP. The audience were invited to manipulate
the dancers’ bodies to create audio-animated, moving sculpture.
